Philippe Courtot \ Chairman and CEO

Demonstrating a unique mix of technical vision, marketing and business acumen, Philippe Courtot has repeatedly built innovative companies into industry leaders. As CEO of Qualys, Philippe has worked with thousands of companies to improve their network security. Philippe received the SC Magazine Editor's Award for bringing on demand technology to the network security industry and for co-founding the CSO Interchange to provide a forum for sharing information in the security industry.

Before joining Qualys, Philippe was the Chairman and CEO of Signio, an electronic payment start-up that he repositioned to become a significant e-commerce player. In February 2000, VeriSign acquired Signio for more than a billion dollars. Today, VeriSign's payment division, based on the Signio technology, handles 30% of electronic transaction in the U.S., processing $100-million in daily sales. Prior to Signio, Philippe was President and CEO of Verity, where he re-engineered the company to become the leader in enterprise knowledge retrieval solutions. Under Philippe's direction, the company completed its initial public offering in November 1995. Philippe also turned an unknown company of 12 people, cc:Mail, into the dominant e-mail platform provider, achieving a 40% market share while competing directly against IBM and Microsoft. Acknowledging the market leading position of cc:Mail and the significance of e-mail in corporate environments, Lotus acquired the company in 1991. In 1986, as CEO of Thomson CGR Medical, a medical imaging company, Philippe received the Benjamin Franklin award for his role in the creation of a nationwide advertising campaign promoting the life-saving benefits of mammography. Philippe served on the Board of Trustees for The Internet Society, an international non-profit organization that fosters global cooperation and coordination on the development of the Internet. French and Basque born, he holds a Masters Degree in Physics from the University of Paris, came to the US in 1981 and has lived in Silicon Valley since 1987.

Don McCauley \ Chief Financial Officer

As the Chief Financial Officer of Qualys, Don brings over 25 years of unique financial and administrative experience in successfully growing early-stage software and services companies. Included among his achievements are three initial public offerings resulting in over $5 billion of shareholder value. In 2003, Don led the successful $112 million IPO of iPass, Inc. (NASDAQ: IPAS), a $165 million provider of secure enterprise mobility services. In his six years with iPass, Don was a key driver of sales strategy and international expansion that resulted in more than 10 times revenue growth with consistent profitability and cash flows. Don led the successful development and implementation of best-of-breed financial systems and controls which resulted in a fully unqualified opinion for the company's first Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 audit. In the 1990's Don teamed with Philippe Courtot at Verity as CFO for four years which resulted in a very successful IPO and follow-on offering. After ten years as a public company, Verity was acquired in 2005 for $500 million. Don also spent eight years as the CFO of GTECH Holdings. As their Senior VP and CFO, he was a key contributor to significant worldwide market expansion as well as systems and organizational development resulting in 20 times revenue growth and consistent profitability. Don led both a successful IPO and follow-on offering. GTECH was acquired in 2006 for $4.4 billion. Don has also served as CFO for a number of other private technology companies. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Rhode Island and is a certified public accountant.

Amer Deeba \ Chief Marketing Officer

Responsible for branding, marketing, corporate communications and customer relations activities, Amer has a proven track record in driving company growth in fast moving technology fields. Amer came to Qualys from VeriSign, where he was the General Manager for the Payment Services Division, and helped establish VeriSign as a leader in the online payments space - where 40% of all credit card transactions were processed by VeriSign across the Internet. Amer joined VeriSign as part of its acquisition of online payments pioneer Signio, where he served as Director of Product Marketing. Prior to VeriSign and Signio, Amer spent five years at Adobe where he led the development of Web-enabling PDF. Before that, he held a variety of technical and management positions at Verity, and Amdahl. Amer earned MS and BS degrees in Computer Sciences.

Wolfgang Kandek \ Chief Technical Officer & Vice President of Engineering

As the CTO for Qualys, Wolfgang is responsible for product direction and all operational aspects of the QualysGuard platform and its infrastructure. Wolfgang has over 20 years of experience in developing and managing information systems. His focus has been on Unix-based server architectures and application delivery through the Internet. Prior to joining Qualys, Wolfgang was Director of Network Operations at the Online Music streaming company myplay.com and at iSyndicate, an Internet media syndication company. Earlier in his career, Wolfgang held a variety of technical positions at EDS, MCI and IBM. Wolfgang earned a Masters and a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany.

Wolfgang is a frequent speaker at security events and forums including Black Hat, RSA Conference, InfoSecurity UK and The Open Group. Wolfgang is the main contributor to the Laws of Vulnerabilities blog.

Randy Barr \ Chief Security Officer

As Chief Security Officer (CSO) of Qualys, Randy is responsible for security, risk management and business continuity planning of the QualysGuard platform used by thousands of organizations worldwide. He will also lead the Qualys CSO Advisory Board efforts to collaborate with customers on forging and implementing security and compliance best practices. Randy has over 13 years of information technology and leadership experience. Prior to joining Qualys, he was the Information Security Officer at Yodlee responsible for insuring a high-level security posture of Yodlee's Internet based financial services. Before Yodlee, Randy served as CSO for WebEx Communications, a Cisco company; the leading provider of web communication services with over 30,000 customers worldwide. At WebEx, Randy built a security department from the ground up and was responsible for the company's global security infrastructure. In this role, he led the company's successful attainment of the SysTrust Seal, SAS-70 Type II incorporating the ISO-17799 Control Objectives, DIACAP / FISMA reviews which lead to the Interim Authority to Operate on the NIPRNET network for the Department of Defense and the Independent Security Report. Prior to his appointment as CSO, Randy held several management positions within WebEx and leadership positions in the healthcare, gaming and high-tech industries. Randy is a frequent speaker at security conferences including CSO Perspectives, RSA, BITS Security Forum, The Security Standard and SaaS/Gov. He has also been quoted in numerous articles and was featured on the front cover of SC Magazine. Randy holds a BS in Business Administration from University of Phoenix.

Ed King \ Vice President of Product Management

As Vice President of Product Management, Ed is responsible for product marketing and product management for Qualys. Ed has spent the last 19 years researching, building, managing, and marketing cutting edge technology products. Prior to joining Qualys, Ed was Vice President of Marketing at Agiliance, where he was responsible for product management, product marketing, and corporate marketing. By revamping both product line up and market messaging, Ed helped Agiliance double its revenue within his first year. Prior to Agiliance, Ed was Senior Director of Product Management at Oracle, where he was responsible for product management and product marketing for Oracle's identity management suite of products. Under his guidance, Oracle's identity management business grew from a niche player to the undisputed market leader in just three years. Prior to Oracle, Ed was head of product management at Thor Technology (acquired by Oracle), Jamcracker and Softchain (acquired by i2 Technologies). Ed has an MS degree in Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and an MBA from University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.

Debra Hagan \ Vice President of Global Support Services

As Vice President of Global Support Services, Debra is responsible for the delivery of high quality customer service, product support and education services to ensure partner and customer success with Qualys products. Debra brings to the role more than 20 years of experience as a business leader in Global Customer Support and Enterprise Services with leading high tech companies. Prior to joining Qualys, Debra oversaw the worldwide expansion of VMware's Global Support Services during the company's IPO and explosive growth as the market leader for virtualization. Prior to VMware, Debra held various senior leadership and technical positions at Serena Software, Sybase and Sun Microsystems. Debra holds a degree in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Santa Cruz, California.

Hesham Eassa \ Vice President of Operations

As Vice President of Operations for Qualys, Hesham Eassa is responsible for managing the operations and expansion of the QualysGuard global SaaS infrastructure that encompasses multiple SOCs in the US and the rest the of world. Most recently, Hesham held the position of VP, Ecommerce Infrastructure and Operations for Macrovision Corp., responsible for managing the rapidly growing digital entertainment applications and services of the company end to end. As the VP, Global Infrastructure and Operations at WebEx, Hesham engineered the scalable infrastructure that supported WebEx explosive growth across the globe. He has also held the positions of Network Planner/Architect for Xerox and Manager, Information Systems for the University of Rochester where he began his IT career and built the University's first IP LAN. Hesham earned dual MBAs in Management of Information Systems and Service Operations Management from the University of Rochester. He holds certifications in Management Studies in Information Systems from the University of Rochester as well as advanced certifications from Cisco and the CACI Institute.

Terry Ramos \ Vice President of Strategic Alliances

As Vice President of Strategic Alliances for Qualys, Terry is responsible for developing strategic alliances and partnerships around Qualys' Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform. While at Qualys, he has assumed multiple positions including Director of Strategic Development where he was instrumental at establishing and developing partnerships with leading Managed Service Providers (MSPs)such as BT, IBM, SecureWorks, Savvis, Symantec and VeriSign. Prior to joining Qualys, Terry was a Regional Technical Manager at VeriSign, responsible for Sales Engineering in the Enterprise Sales Division and a Senior Technical Security Manager at SBC where helped design the company's perimeter security infrastructure and network security architecture. Terry has 18 years experience in the IT industry with the last ten focused specifically on information security. He is a well known speaker on the topics of Vulnerability Management, SaaS, and the PCI Data Security Standard and has spoken at many national and regional events including the RSA Security Conference and Secure World Expos. Terry became a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) in 2001.

David French \ Vice President of US Field Operations

As Vice President of Qualys' US Field Operations team, David is responsible for delivering IT security and compliance solutions through Qualys' Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform to the Fortune Global 2000. The US Field Operations team executes on account management and growth, new product introduction to the market, and continuous customer and partner education. Prior to joining Qualys in 2004, David was a Senior Security Consultant for Ernst & Young, where he led security assessments, threat and vulnerability analysis, and architectural reviews for Fortune 500 clients. David is a frequent presenter on topics related to information security and audit at conferences and for professional organizations, and is actively involved with the ISSA and ISACA organizations. David holds the CISSP and CISA industry certifications, and earned his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University.

Christophe Bianco \ General Manager of EMEA

With 15 years of experience in providing security services, including security policy and governance, audits, and intrusion detection, Christophe is responsible for strategic, operational, field sales and marketing activities in EMEA. Most recently leading Western Europe sales and managing the Luxembourg subsidiary for Verizon Business Security Solutions, Christophe led a team advising the extended enterprise on how to secure information, secure the infrastructure, and implement governance, risk and security policies. Christophe has also served as the general manager for Ubizen in Luxembourg, where he managed operations and executed the company's partner and vendor strategy, set up a customer loyalty program, and extended the products and services offered. He has also been manager of information security for SkillTeam, an IBM subsidiary, and network and telecoms engineer for Banque Paribas, both based in Luxembourg. Christophe has a master's degree in telecoms from the National Superior School of Telecommunications of Brittany, a degree in engineering from the National School of Brest, and an Executive MBA from HEC Paris.

Rima Touma-Bruno \ Vice President of Human Resources

As Vice President of Human Resources, Rima helps the Qualys workforce maintain a high level of performance by serving as an employee champion and cultivating the corporate community. She brings more than 15 years of domestic and international human resources experience to the company. Prior to joining Qualys, Rima was in HR at VeriSign as part of the mergers and acquisitions group where she was responsible for investigating potential acquisitions, focusing on talent assessment, management style, cost analysis of benefits, and stock plan transfers. Rima joined VeriSign as part of its acquisition of Signio, where she served as Director of Human Resources, spearheading employee practices and all other aspects of HR. She also led the Human Resources departments at NetObjects, Inc. and Verity, Inc. where she played an integral role in taking both companies through a public offering. Ms. Touma-Bruno holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from San Jose State University.
